Dead Man on Campus stars Tom Everett Scott, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Lochlyn Munro, Randy
Pearlstein, and Corey Page. At the beginning of this movie, Josh (Scott) appears to have a
bright future in front of him. He is accepted into Daleman College on a full scholarship and is
studying to become a doctor. However, his future is compromised when he meets his slacker
roommate, Cooper (Gosselaar), whose father is the wealthy owner of a successful toilet cleaning
company. Cooper only goes to college in order to avoid having to clean toilets and therefore
does not study, instead partying on his father's tuition money - in fact, Daleman College is
not the first college he's been to - he's already failed out of several others. Anyway, Josh
follows Cooper's partying lifestyle, which results in Josh getting all F's on his midterms,
therefore putting his scholarship in jeopardy! Cooper is not doing so great himself, as his
father finally comes to his senses and threatens to cut him off if he does not begin taking
college seriously and getting his grades up. However, Daleman has a policy that if one's
roommate commits suicide, he or she gets all A's. Josh and Cooper then try to move in a
student who is likely to commit suicide. Since Josh works in housing transfers for the college,
and since their other roommate is staying at his girlfriend's place for a while, they have no
problem moving students in on the spot - they try Cliff (Munro), an accident-prone psycho who
appears like he wants to die; Buckley (Pearlstein), a computer geek who is afraid of Bill Gates
stealing his brain; and Matt (Page), a seemingly depressed lead singer of local heavy metal
band Kiss My Ass. However, none of them work out, and it appears all hope is lost for Josh and
Cooper. Or is it?
