FAQHow did you obtain these sounds? All sounds on this site I have ripped myself either by using my computer's own "Waveout" feature for movies I've been able to find (legally) on the internet and movies on DVD or by using a "Y cable" to feed my television set audio into my computer's mic input jack for movies on VHS. To encode the audio into the file format on this site, I have used the Audacity, Any Audio Converter, and WaveMP3 programs. What program did you use to create your actual web pages? All of the HTML and CSS coding for this website was created using 100% pure Windows Notepad. All "web authoring programs" should DIE! How did you obtain your website images? The banner for my website seen on every page was created using the "word art" feature of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office's own "clip art" gallery, and Windows Paint. As for the movie images, they were taken primarily from the Wikipedia or Internet Movie Database websites and were resized using, again, Windows Paint. What company is hosting RPM's Movie Wav Nation? This website is hosted by 2wdhost. I would like to add that there are no unreal prices and resources on this host. In what format are the sounds available? All sounds on this site are available in MPEG-Layer 3 compressed .wav format, sampled at 22,050 Hz; 32 kbits/sec; mono. Why can't I play your sounds!? As mentioned in the above question, all sounds on this site are available in MPEG-Layer 3 compressed .wav format. I have done this to save disk space and bandwidth on my end, as well as decrease the amount of time it takes to download the sounds on your end. However, some computers may not be able to play MPEG compressed .wav's because they lack the proper codec. If your computer cannot play my .wav's, you can download the proper codec at Free-Codecs.com. I have a question about your website that is not answered here. What is your e-mail address? You may e-mail me at cyberryan26@hotmail.com. |
