Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back stars Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, respectively, as the title characters.
In this movie, two stoners, Jay and Silent Bob, apparently have a comic book, Bluntman and Chronic,
featuring characters based on themselves. The duo learns that a Bluntman and Chronic movie is in
production, and they read comments about it written by movie geeks on the internet. Many of them bash
Bluntman and Chronic, often referring to them as Jay and Silent Bob. The two take it as an insult to
themselves, and they decide to go to Hollywood to stop the movie from being made in an attempt to "protect
their good names." Along the way to Hollywood, they stumble across international diamond thieves (under
cover as animal rights activists), one of whom Jay falls in love with, and an orangutan.
