Vacation stars Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Anthony Michael Hall, and Dana Barron.
In this movie, Clark Griswold (Chase) is a busy food preservatives developer who just wants to
spend time with his family, and he figures there's no better way to do it than with a summer
vacation. He decides to take his wife, Ellen (D'Angelo), and his kids, Russ (Hall) and Audrey
(Barron), to the Wally World theme park, which is located in Los Angeles, CA, and they live in
Chicago, IL (2460 miles away). However, their trip is one disaster after another. For one,
Clark gets his car's tires' hubcaps stolen in St. Louis, MO. After that, Clark falls asleep
behind the wheel, almost killing his family! Clark also kills a dog and Ellen's aunt Edna on
his journey to Wally World. Other disasters also accompany the Griswolds on their trip, yet
Clark insists on going to Wally World and having fun there, even after finding out Wally World
is closed once they arrive!
