Waiting stars Justin Long, Ryan Reynolds, John Francis Daley, and Vanessa Lengies. In
this movie, Dean (Long) has been a waiter at the fictional Shenaniganz (a parody of Bennigan's)
for four years, during which time he had also been taking classes at a community college. One
day, he also finds out one of his old high school classmates, Chet, has graduated from a four
year college with a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Dean is also offered a job as
assistant manager at Shenaniganz, and he questions his life throughout the film, pondering
whether or not he should take the job, which he feels would prevent him from doing something
really important with his life.
